While We provide general civil engineering services and planning services, The DANIS Group has particular expertise in the field of coastal and marine structures, environmental permitting and complex project development.  To support these services the latest in computer assisted design and drafting tools are employed at all levels to develop projects as efficiently as possible.  The computer systems have been developed over the last eleven years of business and the IT department has over 40 years of computer experience beginning with the first mainframe computers to today’s PC-based environments. 

The total computerization of The DANIS Group allows personnel to function efficiently in the office but also while in remote locations through Internet links.  One innovative technique is that every document is converted into an electronic format that can be accessed from a remote location through any available computer.  This allows personnel to never be without needed information no matter their location as long as they have access to a computer connected to the Internet.

For project coordination with clients and agencies, The DANIS Group maintains a File Transfer Protocol site for moving large files and information.  This site is available upon request to clients needing the service but not to anyone else and is tightly controlled through the IT department to maintain client confidentiality.

The DANIS Group has over 11 years of business experience and is organized to provide a wide range of services to its clients.     is a division of The DANIS Group that provides physical support to the civil engineering, planning and permitting functions by maintaining specialized equipment for bathymetric surveying, white infrared and color underwater video, general engineering surveying and support watercraft and vehicles.
